During a personal trip to Florida in 2022, my friend Sam connected me with Joanna Fitzgerald of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida in Naples. She took us to Naples Botanical Garden and Naples Beach, as well as guided hikes in the Everglades, where I saw and photographed my first alligator! I edited these photos using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. In addition, I was allowed to photograph a brown pelican release by the staff of Von Arx Wildlife Hospital, which was featured in the Naples Daily News.
